PERFORMANCES AT CARNEGIE HALL - Carnegie Hall is well known for its diversity in programming and the 2008- 2009 season continues that tradition, welcoming the very best in bluegrass, jazz, classical, pop and world music to our stage. How can you go wrong with Grammy Award winners Ralph Stanley, George Winston and Terrance Simien? Greats like The Phenomenal Ruthie Foster; Simone, the daughter of Nina Simone; Cephas and Wiggins and Catherine Russell offer our audience an eclectic selection of blues and jazz. Add to the mix the complexity of the WV Symphony and the Kandinsky Trio, the twang of the Infamous Stringdusters, the laid-back sound of Tristan Prettyman and the energy of the Celtic band, Solas and you have a season of live performances you can sink your teeth into. Join us before the show in the VIP Lounge for drinks and refreshments; you’ll be sure to come away satisfied!
