Gallery Openings & Reception

Carnegie Hall invites the community to attend the upcoming Carnegie Hall Artwalk on Friday, September 11, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. This free event offers visitors a chance to explore original works by local and regional artists in a world-class historical venue. Guests will enjoy live music, complimentary light refreshments, and a cash bar while immersing themselves in the arts. Each Artwalk features four gallery spaces filled with creative collaborations and diverse mediums, ranging from contemporary oil portraits to heirloom-level craft arts.

The 249th Army Band, “West Virginia’s Own,” returns to Carnegie Hall for a stirring musical tribute honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans. Known for its exceptional musicianship and deep commitment to community engagement, the band presents a dynamic program that blends patriotic favorites, ceremonial selections, and contemporary works that highlight the versatility and artistry of today’s Army musicians. As one of the premier military ensembles in the region, the 249th Army Band performs throughout West Virginia and beyond, fostering pride, unity, and gratitude through the power of live music. Celebrating Veterans offers an evening of reflection, recognition, and heartfelt appreciation—an inspiring salute to those who have served and continue to serve our country.
